Dr Aisling Malone

Aisling qualified from UCD in 1994. She completed her internship in General Surgery and Medicine (working in Dermatology, Neurology and Gastroenterology). She then worked through the Cork GP Vocational Training Scheme in Medicine (Cardiology), Paediatrics (Endocrinology, Infectious Diseases and Neonatology), Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Psychiatry. She spent a further year working in a GP Practice and qualified as a GP in 1998.  Aisling opened Ashbourne Family Practice later that year with Dr. Stephen Murphy.  She has been an examiner for the Irish College of General Practitioners since 2003. She has completed the following:

• MB BCh BAO NUI

• Membership Irish College of General Practitioners

• Membership of Royal College of General Practitioners

• Diploma in Child Health

• Diploma in Obstetrics and Women’s Health

• Introduction to Travel Health

• Certificate of Travel Medicine

• Certificate in Family Planning

• Sexually Transmitted Infection Foundation Course

• Advanced Certificate in LARC
